Spintastics News!!!
« on: March 17, 2010, 12:06:45 PM »

Recent correspondence with the illustrious Mr. Oliver:

Hi Chris,
The internal Trompo weight ring fits exactly on the Torpedo between the cap and body. This makes the cap fit great. I just tape them together (the metal ring is under the tape). I will start shipping them that way immediately. Much better than gluing them together and using an Oring for extra weight.
I just sent the drawings for the QuickSilver Hybrid (no cap) and the Hollowpoint to the new maker in China. Here's hoping he does good.
YO'res,
Dale

awesome news, chris!

incidentally, i found out today that the one of the two o-rings in a torpedo will fit in a ripcord. i have a ripcord that i converted to a BK this way.

it's too bad there aren't any standard sizes in spintops. if there were i'd be swappin' parts all over the place.
