Ok.  I see where number 19 is only a 30-1 favorite to win (one of the worst odds in the field) but it seems like this is a good horse for us to cheer for since it's name is "Spinoff".

Lots of talk in the paper about trainer Bob Baffert.  His horses have won five Kentucky Derbies.  If one of his horses can win this year he will tie for the most ever won by a trainer.  He has three horses in the field.....Game Winner, Improbably and Roadster.  Still, no talk in the paper about our favorite - "Spinoff".

Just heard the trumpet call and I sang "My Old Kentucky Home" with everyone else in the stadium.  There goes the parade of horses and Spinoff!!!

I thought gut Renee would get into this!!!

We live less than three miles from Churchill Downs.  But, we've been in Massachusetts for the last 10 days, and watched the race up here.  What a race!  They will be talking about this and showing reruns for days to come.
