hi all
i've just found this item in an antique market , hidden between children 's books

it's a cardboard with a frame imitating bronze in a cheap way

as you see there's almost everything we like  >:D

got it for 5 quids

Nice find! These gizmos remind me of the wooden toys depicted in a book you recently brought to our attention: "Jouets en Bois" (Wooden Toys) by Serge Defradat (2012).

Don't know much about old toys, but some of these things look more like thinly disguised weapons to me. Maybe they were really for keeping siblings out of your room.
