From the looks of it, with the holes around the crown, this could be a whistler.  The postage from Australia is out of my range.

Interesting. But I have my doubts that it would whistle. I'm guessing not, but I'm curious.

You must be digging pretty deep into Ebay to find all these unusual items.  ;)

I have a loose system.  I find that different search terms bring up different items.  Just putting in spin top, brings up far too many things to dig through.  So, I usually search for "spin top string", or "spin top toy".  Sometimes I try "throw spin top".  Then I sort first by newly listed items to see what's been added since I checked last.  And then I search ending soonest, to make sure I don't miss something selling that day.
