Maybe would be a good idea a spintop artistic photographic contest for 2010.

I think that is a great idea!  The year is just starting, so the timing is perfect. We'll figure out prizes later, but I imagine they will be tops    Let's take advantage of the forum and determine the winning photographs by a poll at the end of the year. That way all the members have a voice and there are no judges to recriminate . . .

I think the only rules we need is that it has to be a photo by a board member with a spintop theme and is first posted on a spintop board this year. The example above is an example of a spintop photo, but it was posted before on topspinning.com (or Button-and-String?) so it cannot enter (if it was published somewhere else it could compete).

I will use this thread to keep a list of possible photos and feel free to nominate anyone you see and like. I guess the first nominated picture of the year will be yocephus' biker

yay a photo thread. this could be better than kitten-wars.
chanel thought it was great her photo was in a top site. she immediately threw out
some ideas for a new shoot. i'm not saying  i won't do them, but they wouldn't show up
here unless you change your format a little      like to a pay site or something.

This is an artisan that makes trompos and pirinolas with a rustic lathe in a flea market during Christmas time in the main square of the town of Sabaneta in Colombia.

Wow! Great idea and great realization! Not only it is artistic and sexy, but a new trick concept!
Leg corkscrew: who can post a video doing it? (preferably SQ  ) It would have been a killer for the collective video!
