Crap. Drooled on my keyboard again. The string looks great. Using some of your string on several tops - It's smooth as butter with no break in needed and it just gets better the more I use it.

I've been making string for three weeks now. All different sizes and colors, and string rigs. This is addicting. I'm using common board and steal cloths hangers, with three rigs and all different sizes of tops I've learned a lot. AND THIS IS FUN. But I still like BEADED line the best. I like a stiff line, where you don't have to wrap so tight. I will post some pictures of the three different rigs this week.

i seam to recall neff saying it worked well but was harder to wrap and that the knot on the ends gaveway often due to the slickness

Thanks Jack, and Tao. I just made a new string for my four inch top. It's 12 - TENS (LYDIA) and six Clarks XP thread. It works FANTASTIC. The size is .090 diameter. I'm going to try 16 tens and eight XP threads for the 4.0 to 4 3/4 top. I'm looking forward to the string rig that Chris is going to send me. This is a lot of fun and it's addicting.
