Richy sent me this photo of a Chico top he dyed:



He said the dye was black but it turned out brown  ???

What kind of dye is it? Is the top delrin?

i used rit dye / yes it is delrin.
   I have dyed delrin yoyos before and some
derin absorbes the dye better than others.
    RFC  ???  ???

Does the dye have to be hot for the delrin to absorb it? Do you have to prep the delrin to absorb the dye?

Yes it needs to be Hot.
Just wash the delrin before applying the glue
