Smashed windows?  Sorry to hear about that.  Glad things kept getting better after that!

Congrats Kevin! Specially on that S8 top!
State Champion is not bad at all, mrraindog!
And with that set of prizes (best ever for a ladder) everybody must have left very happy.
Neff went the extra mile on this.  Well done Chris!

Looking forward to the photos.  With kevinm and neff there, there should be some photo contest caliber ones.

Thank you, ta0.
The locals say Missour(ee).  Very nice folks there, it was really a pleasure.
Not sure about any stellar photos, I didn't want to carry a bunch of cameras around as I was trying to
video some stuff. I believe they had an official MOYO13 photographer video the entire event, keep your eyes posted on
the MOYO13 site.
I didn't video the spin top event because if I knew for sure it was being filmed I would have missed every trick.
Neff did truly go the extra mile, as he had to stage the spin top ladder and judge all the rest of the yoyo contest as well. The top
mods were very cool too!

I know I had a great time and had a blast meeting all the top spinners! I was more than happy to take home 4th place in my first contest, but throwing with my new friends afterwards was the best part of the day for me!

OK, BIG THANK YOU to Jacob (Scott's son) for recording video on his iphone of the whole spin top ladder!
I may or may not upload a cut version of the whole thing, but at least we can share some screenshots now:

...and this clip is a good example of the crowd response when three people miss but the fourth one delivers:

The Sports division at worlds is not a sequential ladder, but it may still benefit from this format with everybody on stage at the same time, taking turns to do their (selected) tricks. It would give it more ambiance.  The problem we generally have is that it is difficult to gather everyone in time . . .

Thanks for sharing the photos and video.

Glad to see the pictures and hear the new format went smoothly.  Sure wish we would have had some kind of formal spintop action in Rochester.  I am happy to hear of the MOYO13 progressive work for the top spinning community!
