If you do not follow professional basketball you probably did not get it. It was not about dunking the ball. It was about Tim Duncan, the leader of 4-time NBA champions the San Antonio Spurs (and with a chance of getting a 5th ring this year).  I do not follow basketball (or any other team sport) but I live in San Antonio so the connection is too obvious to me
