The big IJA juggling festival is going on right now.  I hope some people give us some reports about how it is going and any top involvement at the fest!

Mark (and I  :'( ) had a thread about Rochester.  It was kind of hidden under this topic:

Hi Mark,
I chose not to go this year due to my shoulder.  I couldn't make it work more that a couple minutes without severe pain.  I would have loved going and was encouraged to come several times by Byron.  It is a problem of old age I guess.  Arm is much better now however.

Yes, the shoulder thing is definitely a problem of old age.  I have had several bouts of shoulder struggles since I have turned 50.  Ageing is a challenge.  Thankfully, as Dick Stohr says, it beats the alternative.

Glad you are doing much better, Watts' Tops!!!

I hung out with Byron quite a bit while I was there.  He's got a regen method that I can't describe, but it's pretty unique.

I also bought a Mexican(?) top from him.  I think he said the wood was boiled before it was made into a top.  Here's a picture.  My newest top  is the one on the right, next to my newest Watts (#237).

That Mexican(?) top is really attractive.
What are its dimensions and weight Rick?

Larry, the top is 4.25 inches at the big diameter, stands 6 inches tall, and weighs in at 11 ounces.  It's not a perfect spinner, but I like it.
