......I got inspired......Titti di Legno..................yep, a wooden Titti. The tip portion is Osage Orange; almost the perfect yellow wood to match the lower section of the Titti. As for the top section, I don't have silver colored wood and I'm not into painting, but I knew it had to be a heavy wood to match the heavier aluminum upper portion of the Titti. So I picked Cocobolo which is 25% heavier than the Osage. Dimensionally it's really close to the original........including the wall thickness, which took me several careful hours to get right .....which was a mistake in one critical area.....the wood is lighter than the Delrin/aluminum......the result - 25 grams lighter than the real Titti. It plays nice, but it doesn't carry spin like the original.
